Key stakeholders from Kaduna Central Senatorial District of Kaduna State, have expressed anxiety over the kick off of the maiden edition of Mr. LA Peace and Unity Football Tournament.
The tournament, which is in honour of the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Distinguished Senator Lawal Adamu Usman aka Mr
LA, is expected to foster Peace and unity through football as the name implies.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Tom Awok (Chikun LG ) fmr Council Secretary Nigeria Referees Council Kaduna State, Mr Abdulgafar Agboola National Technical Director Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) and Ya’u Muhammed Inuwa, member, Kaduna State Football Association
Others who signed the statement are, Sani Abdullahi premier league Match Commissioner and Mal Amanu, Kaduna State representative Nigeria Supporters Club
All efforts to reach the Distinguished Senator proved abortive.
However in his response, the Director of Sports to the Distinguished Senator, Abdulsalam Ahmed Jere assured the sports stakeholders that very soon the tournament will kick off
