Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf commiserates With Kano NUJ Correspondents’ Chairman  Over Mother’s Death

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended heartfelt condolences to the State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Correspondents Chapel, Alh Aminu Garko who lost his mother, Hajiya Fatima Ahmad Tanimu Garko recently  at Jos.
This was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, made available yesterday.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described late Hajiya Fatima as a caring and guiding mother, a submissive housewife and a woman of good virtues who trained and brought up responsible and committed children who are now contributing to the development of the nation in so many fields of human endeavours.
On behalf of the government and good people of Kano State, the Governor extended deepest commiseration to the entire family members of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her soul eternal rest, Jannatul Firdausi be her final abode.
