Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Launches Mobile Clinics

As part of continued strive to revamp the state health sector for effective services delivery, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir has launched mobile clinics buses to offer health services  at an event that was held at the Open Theatre, Government House.
According to a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa,  the Governor also commissioned ambulances for medical outreach and emergency services to sixteen (16) local governments at the first batch of the programme to cater for the medical needs of the teaming populace in the nooks and crannies of the state.
Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed delight as he commissioned the  projects that are envisaged to strengthen the health sector to tackle the medical needs of the poor, needy, and most vulnerable people in the society.
He reiterated the commitment of the government to do all what it takes to give the health sector the needed attention, called on people of the state to continue to rally the present administration for more developmental strides that have direct bearing to the people of Kano.
The Commissioner of Health, Abubakar Labaran Yusuf said the resuscitation of the two initiaves was apt and timely saying that a quick emergency  center would be domiciled at Murtala Muhammad Specialist for prompt response to emergency situations that need medical intervention.
Earlier, the Executive  Secretary of the State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda informed drivers of the ambulances and health personnel attached to them they are meant for patients only and any person found wanting would be dealt with accordingly.
