Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) Kaduna State Chapter, has appealed to newly sworn-in Governor, Malam Uba Sani to address the lingering issue of non vacancies to promote their members to the next levels.
A congratulatory message to Governor Uba Sani signed by the Chairman of the chapter, Comrade Abdulrashid Abarshi, said that their members have been stagnant for promotion for years which would only affect their morale.
Comrade Abdulrashid Abarshi lamented that the affected staff are
those on levels 7, 8, 9, 10 , 12, 13 and 14, while also appealing to the relevant authorities to look into the issue.
He also urged the new government to ensure the implementation of Consolidated Salaries Structure (CONLESS) to their members and payment of outfit allowance for three years which is still unpaid to the PASAN members.
Comrade Abarshi further explained that other salary structure such as CONHESS for Health workers, and CONJUS for Judiciary Workers, CONTESS for Academic and non Academic workers of university are been implemented while that of Legislative workers are still hanging.
