*Says, “You Should Have Verified Presidential Polls Data On IREV Before Issuing Certificate Of Return To Tinubu”

Following the order handed down by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), that all Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) should verify data on IREV before issuing certificate of return to governors elect, the SA Youth to former Vice President and People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas said that he should have adhered to same before declaring Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Elect.
Ambassador Abbas expressed this in a statement made available yesterday.
“Dear Brother Mahmoud Yakubu, National Chairman INEC. This Directive should begin with the Certificate of Return you personally issued to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that is when we can now begin to take you serious. Don’t just use this as diversionary,” he said.
He alleged that the, “This is tactics to take our attention away from #FraudFeb2523 Masterminded, orchestrated and executed by your leadership in favour of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC”.
INEC, had directed Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) in states and the FCT to ensure comparison with IREV data before issuance of Certified True Copies of form EC8A.
With this development, some Governors-elect might not get their certificate of return at the end of the day if the records on the BVAS and I-REV are conflicting.
