ITF Trains 270 Youth On Cyber Security To Frustrate Scammers In Kaduna State.

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF)  has  trained 270 youth on cyber security and codding to address the negative activities of scammers in Kaduna State.
The Area Manager ITF Kaduna Office, Engineer Garba Hassan stated this during an interactive forum with stakeholders with the theme “artificial intelligence and the future of human resource development in Nigeria”  held at the office of ITF Kaduna.
He explained to the gathering that the fund financed the training of the 270  youth for six months, their transportation’s allowance and the start-up packs they received during their graduation.
” If those youth whom were trained on cyber security and equipped with start-up packs utilized it positively, Kaduna State would not be safe for scammers and criminals”. He said.
Engineer Garba Hassan said within the year under review, Kaduna Area office of ITF had trained seven thousand youth on tailoring, fashion design, leather work, beauty care and cosmetology, graphic design and photography, solar installation among others.
He thanks all their partners for always being there and also assured them that his doors for partnership are always open for human capital and economic development.
In a paper presentation, a part-time lecturer at Kaduna State University, Malam Umar Faruk said companies were adopting artificial intelligence because it helps them to improve efficiency and productivity as well.
” Artificial technology is able to automate tedious, repetitive, and time-consuming tasks that were previously done manually” he added.
In their separate remarks, the representatives of Bank of Industry, Northern Nigeria Development Company, Bank of Agriculture, Nigeria Railway commended ITF Kaduna Area office under Engr Garba Hassan and the management for their effort particularly in training their staff in different capacities.
In his vote of thanks, the Head of Training ITF, Kaduna Area office, Mr. Daniel Jamgbade assured their partners that the fund would continue to do it’s best in the area of training in human development.
At the end of the event, ITF Kaduna Area office presented an award of outstanding performance to Bank of Industry as the best in training, Nigeria Railway Corporation as the best in in-house training and District Head of Doka, Alhaji Balarabe Muhammad as the best Community Development Leader.
Others are, Al-Rissalah Printing and Publishing Company Nigeria as the best in training contribution (without variance) and the Terraina Construction Nigeria Limited as the most outstanding in training contribution.
