A frontline group, National Youth Alliance has written to former military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), seeking his intervention in Nigeria’s leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The letter, dated December 7, 2023, sighted by our correspondent, sought IBB’s intervention in guiding them on who to sell to Nigerians as the country’s next president.
According to the letter signed by Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, President, National Youth Alliance, Nigeria is in dire need of a leader to unite its people and propel it to lofty heights.
The letter reads: “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“I greet you with Love, Humility & Utmost Respect Your Excellency,
“Our Dear Truly Beloved Father of the Nation General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida: will you allow God to use you to birth a purposeful, peaceful and prosperous new Nigeria of our dreams come 2027?
“This is a covenant between Allah (SWA) & Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida to fish for a leader that Nigerians deserve come 2027.
“This kind of covenant had happened before in human history between Allah and our father Prophet Ibrahim (AS) as it is Written in our Holy Books (Quran & Injil {Bible}). Allah refers to our Father Prophet Ibrahim (AS) as a ‘nation’.
“So, a man is a nation and a nation is a revelation. What this means is that: A Nation is an inspired vision from God to a man.
“Every nation has an ordained purpose that God has created them to fulfill on earth. And this purpose must be discovered and understood by all, especially the leaders.
“Nigeria: Who is she?
Nigeria is an entity of providence that must fulfill a peculiar purpose, not just for the black people, but for all humanity.
“Nigeria’s Purpose: Allah’s peculiar purpose for the creation of this great entity called Nigeria, is to establish a universal civilization for humanity.
“A civilization that will unify all of the humankind, using Nigeria as an Archetype (Perfect Example).
This is the more reason God created our beautiful and unique diversities. This is so, in order for us to use divine wisdom and understanding, to use our inner superior knowledge to create harmony of our diversity for the universal good of all and to be an exemplary great nation that will be a blessing for the whole World, and for other nations to emulate.
“The great Madiba, Papa Nelson Mandela reminded us of this glorious call before he passed on. He said: “The world will never respect Africa until Nigeria earns that respect. The Black people of the world are looking up to Nigeria to be a source of pride and confidence. Every Nigeria Citizen should be made to understand this Truth”.
“With all humility and profound respect Your Excellency, this is the Holy truth that a common boy like Amb Aliyu Bin Abbas is sharing with you.
“God is looking for that man with the pure heart that will understand this great and unparalleled destiny of Nigeria so that God can use the man to birth this glorious destiny to the glory of God and for the betterment of all mankind.
“Your Excellency, will you be the father of the new Nigeria?”
