*Reveals list of acting state chairmen

Rising from a meeting held in Kaduna on November 7, 2023, the North West Executive of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has endorsed the expulsion of its presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Senator Rabilu Musa Kwankwaso from the party.
This was conveyed in a communique signed by  NNPP National Vice Chairman
North Westl, Alh. Sani Yusuf Danmasani, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Friday November 10, 2023.
The communique informed that the decision was part of the resolutions taken.
“”The  executive committee reaffirms the expulsion of Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso from NNPP
“The executive committee reaffirmed the dissolution of Abba Kawu Ali led National Working Committee (NWC).
“The executive committee passed 2nd vote of confidence on the founder and life member of board of trustees Dr Boniface Aniebonan,” it informed.
According to the communique, other resolutions reached, include,  reaffirming the election of Dr Tope Aluko as Board of trustees chairman and Engr. Mohammed Baboyo Abdullahi as Board of Trustees Secretary
Also, the executive committee reaffirmed the appointment of new NWC under the leadership of Dr Agbo Major.
Similarly, the executive committee  of the North West Zone released the names of acting state chairmen of the zone as follows, Alhaji Akilu Kabo, Kaduna State,  Alhaji Sulaiman Ghana, Kano State,
 Alhaji Bello Magaji, Katsina State,
Alhaji Ado Ibrahim (Magayaki), Jigawa State,  Faruk Yusuf Ali, Sokoto State,  Umar Abubakar Yauri, Kebbi State and  Abubakar Sani, Zanfara State
“All the executive committee members of North West Zone attended the meeting and Engr. Mohammed Babayo Abdullahi,  board of trustees secretary, was in attendance,” it informed.
