Thousands of residents of Kaduna State who suffered losses from flooding in 2022 have received intervention packages from the Federal government, through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North West Zone.
Various items, including food, building materials, farm input and empowerment packages were presented to the victims in Kaduna on Sunday October 21, 2023.
Items distributed, include water pumping machines, sewing machines, grinding machines and foodstuff (rice, beans, sorghum, vegetable oil, salt, tomato paste).
Other Items include house hold (mattresses, blankets, buckets, gas cooking stove, mats, toilet soaps) and building materials.
