In its effort to have a free, fair and credible election, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has constituted a six-man normalisation committee.
The committee which has Hon. Mohammed Sabo Babayaro as the chairman, will work with Mr. Patrick Ishaya as his vice, while members are Nasiru Adamu Chiji, Dahiru Sadi and Lawal Cambo Bashir, with Hassan Buba serving as secretary.
Inaugurating the committee in Kaduna on Friday, Special Assistant to the General Secretary NFF, Malam Mohammad Aminu said that the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau wants credible elections all over the country.
He assured that the calibre of people selected will work for the state and the country at large
Responding, the chairman of the Normalisation Committee, Hon. Mohammad Sabo Babayaro said that they will do their duty without fear or favour and thanked the federation for finding them worthy.
The Normalisation Committee has three months mandate, over the affairs of football activities, organise local councils and start elections.
The inauguration was held at the FA Office, Ministry of Sports Development Kaduna State.
