An indigenous company, Messers Bolanle Ogundele Ventures Kaduna has sought the timely and favourable intervention of the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, over a prolonged debt case between her company and a State government-leading contracting firm.

The Chief Executive of the Company, Mrs Bolanle Ogundele who made the appeal during a press conference in Kaduna, alleged that a Kaduna State major contracting company, Messers Ronchess Global Resources Limited has refused to pay her company the sum of over N14 million for the supply of construction materials since June 2022.

According to her, the deal which was done through a purchasing order of materials that included sharp sand, hardcore granites and stone base since last year, is yet to be cash-backed

She explained further that the alleged refusal of Messers Ronchess Global Resources Limited to settle the debt has exposed her to ridicule from those her company collected the materials on credit, due to her failure to pay the money for the aforementioned materials.

“I am one of the suppliers in the ongoing Kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA) Urban Renewal Road Project. I did the supplies for Zaria, Danbushia and Sultan Road projects respectively”.

“Last payment date was April 15, 2022, with some amount left unpaid of an invoice dated 23 March 2022, and we commenced new supply between 22 April 2022 and 25 May 2022, and up till date no payment was made,” she further said.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ronchess Global Resources Limited, Mr. Jackson Ukuevo declined to comment on the allegation because the civil case is before a court.
