How DAMMF, HOA Foundation, Fitila Movement Organised Memorable iftar

Iftar is the main meal of the fasting day, which occurs at sunset every day of Ramadan, and is more rewarding when celebrated as Get Together  in the spirit of friendship and selflessness.

In a spirit of friendship, Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation (DAMMF) and  Hon. Oluwaseun Adekunmi in  (HOA)  collaboration with Fitila Movement organised breaking of fast get together, which was part of their collective goal of bringing together and showing love and appreciation to the local community especially for their support during the just concluded general elections where all All Progressives Congress (APC) came out victorious.

The foundations offered  free iftar meals to residents, especially the non- indigenes in Efiyan,Odo and Ayiepe communities of Odogbolu Local Government Area, Ogun State.

The convener of Fitila Movement, who is also the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon Ladejobi Shuaib said, “as we look forward to the democratic dispensation where Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sown in as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria and our Governor in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, we pray for unity, understanding and tolerance among citizens.”

He also  prayed for love and compassion,forgiveness for our departed souls in whose honour the iftar was organised

 Hon. Oluwaseun Oguntade  said, “we are so excited as we celebrate Ramadan iftar especially with the non indigenes at Efiyan,Odo and Ayiepe communities of Odogbolu Local Government, Ogun State and gave to each other a sense of the spirit of Ramadan.

“It’s always exciting in engaging with the beneficiaries and sensitizing them on the need and importance of showing kindness/empathy in all their daily endeavours”, Mogaji Olatunde, promoter of Detola Abike Mogaji Memorial Foundation said.

“Those who attended, enjoyed themselves and it was evident by the smiles and positive feedback  received during and after the event which only serves as encouragement,” Mogaji added.
