While commending them for successes recorded so far, the acting Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, DCP Mamman B. Giwa has charged senior police officers to supervise those under their command to leave criminal elements across the 23 local government areas with no breathing space to thrive.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammad Jalige, made available on Thursday April 27, said he gave the order at a meeting with senior police officers, DPOS, HODS and Tactical Commanders at the Police Officers Mess on Thursday in Kaduna.
DCP Mamman B. Giwa stressed that they should ensure all human and intelligence capabilities at their disposal are adequately deployed to deny criminals space to operate in the state.
The Acting CP urged them to initiate modalities that can stand the test of time in crime fighting in their respective jurisdiction.
He used the medium to review operational strategies, while directing that visible policing and constant raids on identified black spots across the 23 LGAs of the state be maintained, adding that it would reduce crime to its barest minimum.
