The President of the United Church of Christ in Nigeria (HEKAN), Reverend Amos Kiri has received an Award of Excellence in recognition of his selfless service to humanity
The honour was done by Kiri District Development Association, Adamawa State.
The HEKAN President was among five awardees from different fields ranging from Academia, Religious and other fields
The award ceremony was the second of its kind in recent times.
The award of excellence to Dr. Kiri, is on the heels of his contributions and dedication to the development of his community and the association among others.
Kiri was elated by the recognition and honour done on him.
He thanked his people for finding him worthy and assures to continue to give his best at all times.
Reverend Amos Kiri also commended the organisers for a job well done, noting that the award is not for him alone, but for his family and the entire HEKAN Church, where he is currently serving as the president.
Dr. Kiri appealed to all to see each other as brothers and also embrace peace at all times.
On the forthcoming general elections, the clergyman tasked all to get their permanent voters card and vote wisely.
