Christmas: House Of Reps Member, Sama’ila Suleiman Celebrates Christians

Member House of Reps, Samaila Suleiman has congratulated Christians for marking the 2022 Christmas Season.

In a press statement signed by the Kaduna North federal legislator, Christmas Season was described as a period of deep retrospection for showing kindness, love and selfless commitment to growth and development of mankind .

The second term Federal Legislator noted that the country was at a crossroad due to unwarranted economic hardship and avoidable insecurity situation he attributed to lack of effective leadership at the centre and the State in particular, calling on electorate to utilize their PVCs wisely by voting credible candidates with tested and trusted antecedents in public service.

He enjoined adherents of the Christian faith to emulate the teachings and core values of Christ whom he noted symbolized love , peace and passion for emancipation of mankind.

He expressed hope in a better country built on National rebirth, economic prosperity and political stability.

He lamented about the hardship experienced in the country,  especially in Kaduna.

He dole out 10 million Naira to Christians in his constituency to enable them have a hitch free Christmas celebration.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kaduna North House of Reps candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election said this year’s Christmas would provide an ample opportunity for praying and wishing the country a peaceful transition.

While enjoining Christians to use the auspicious occasion to pray for emancipation of the country from the grip of bad leadership, Hon. Suleiman reminded voters to ensure they vote in competent candidates in the forthcoming general election.

According to him, the hardship experienced today in the state is as a result of the leadership style by the present government, where workers are sent away from work without pay, shops and houses of the common man destroyed without any tangible reasons.

” Education today in the state is no longer for the children of the masses, as parents couldn’t afford to pay for the fee making a lot of kids to drop from school”, he stated.

He urged Christians to pray for a seamless transition in 2023 and electing good leaders, capable of turning around the fortunes of the country for overall benefit, growth and prosperity of all citizens.

” I am pleased to use this special occasion of commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ to call on our Christian brothers and sisters to emulate Christ by radiating love and peace to all.

” It is a season for love and show of selfless service and commitment to peace which is a bedrock of development and prosperity.

” I wish all Christians a merry Christmas and the blessings of the season , ” he said.
