New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Kaduna North House of Reps flag bearer for 2023 general election, Hon. Shehu Bawa, known as ABG has congratulated Christians for yet marking another Christmas season in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a press statement, ABG called for religious harmony and peaceful coexistence built on mutual trust and show of love amongst adherents of different faiths.
The House of Reps hopeful also prayed for God’s journey mercies on Nigerians who would be travelling to celebrate with their loved ones, soliciting the Lord’s protection to cover all travellers on different highways across the nation throughout the yuletide.
” It is my pleasure to felicitate our Christian brothers and sisters as they mark the 2022 Christmas season in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ.
” It is a season of commitment to peace and universal show of love and generosity, particular to the needy as preached and exemplified by Jesus Christ.
” We must emulate the virtues of Christ in our words and actions so our country can be a model for others in the contemporary world.
” Our dear country is in dire need of exemplary leadership like never before to solve barrage of problems confronting Nigerians on daily basis.
” We pray for a peaceful and seamless transition that would usher in compassionate leaders with the interest of the masses at hearts.
” Leaders that would positively turn around the socio-economic fortune of this country for progress and development.
” I am optimistic with good character anchored on selflessness in service to fatherland and above all sustainable prayers for the country, Nigeria will be a better nation,” he declared.
