As Nigeria marks 23 years of uninterrupted Democracy, Chanchangi Airlines has joined other prominent business communities in saluting the country’s return to representative governance.
In a press statement, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Kaduna based Airline, Alhaji Musa Ahmadu Chanchangi expressed hope and optimism in a better, stable and economically prosperous nation just as he prayed for a seamless and peaceful transition in 2023 .
Chanchangi, while acknowledging challenges encountered through the Country’s more than two decades of democratic experiment , believed Nigeria would attain greatness and become a global force to be reckoned with in the nearest future.
He recalled with nostalgia the excitement that welcomed the nation’s return to democracy in 1999, saying Nigerians have every reason to be grateful to God for keeping the country as one political entity after a century of amalgamation.
The seasoned air operator added that patriotism, loyalty, commitment, passion for development of country and above all he noted, fear of God should be articles of faith to be adhered to by all Nigerians in nourishing the nation’s democracy irrespective of religion , region and political affiliation .
” Our faith in the project of nationhood and one Nigeria must remain sacrosanct as we face another election cycle next year.
” I must use this leverage in my personal capacity to congratulate standard bearers of various political platforms , one of whom would definitely emerge as our next president after the 2023 general election God Willing.
” I must especially felicitate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his victory at the ruling party’s primary and wish him well and triumph as he gears up in his bid towards presiding over the most populous Black nation on Earth .
” Lagos, being a hub of African aviation Industry has enjoyed tremendous transformation under him and successive administration in the state .
” Eko has been turned over the years into a mega city befitting her status as Nigeria’s Centre of Excellence under his stewardship and those of his successors .
” We at Chanchangi Airlines will continue to support rebuilding the nation’s economy through freight and passenger services,” he assured.
