..Say’s it lacks capacity to manage crises

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kaduna State in 2019, Hon. Isa Ashiru has said that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration lacks the requisite capacity to managed crises especially as it relate to the security challenges currently ravaging the nation.
Hon. Ashiru who described it as unfortunate, lamented that APC government has been in office for the past seven years and nothing has been done to the insecurity problem which he said is deteriorating to an alarming situation.
He made assertion Tuesday when political support groups loyal to former kaduna governorship aspirant, Hon Sani Sidi, in 2019, declared their unalloyed support for him in his office in kaduna state.
The group, comprising kaduna political stalwarts were received by the immediate past governorship candidate and 2023 Kaduna Governorship hopeful, Hon. Isa Ashiru, and and his supporters.
The group, in company of the former majority leader of the State house of assembly and former commissioner of works, Bashir Zango Ayah, also made their intention known to journalsts during an interview at the end of the meeting with the former governorship candidate.
According to them, Hon. Sani Sidi contested 2019 PDP governorship primary election in kaduna state and lost, and decamped to the Ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), leaving about 95 percent of them who were his supporters behind.
The former lawmaker who spoke to the media, also stated that Hon. Sani Sidi came third during the Kaduna PDP governorship primary election won by Hon. Isa Ashiru, but later left for APC.
He said “This group was the former campaign group for Hon Sani Sidi during his campaign period of 2019 general election. We followed and served him. He contested and became.number 3 in the primary election held on 2019 of PDP. But Sani Sidi defected since, shortly after the primary election to APC. And left behind about 95 percent of his followership that went with him during the campaign and throughout the primaries. We’ve not had from him again. Is still in the APC”, he said.
Hon. Ayah also said that the Right Honourable Isa Ashiru invited some of them for dialogue with him and showed interest in their group.
“And today, he call the larger family of the group and they all agreed to come and join forces with Ashiru Campaign organisation in other to rescue the people of kaduna state from hardship they’re currently enountering under the APC led administration.
“And we’ve also resolved to drop the name, Sani Sidi campaign and adopt victory forum, that we’ve come to join Ashiru victory and for the victory of his campaign and for him to become the governor of kaduna State on 2023.
Other prominent political big guns among them are Hon. Alex Gruza, J Yayuk and the whole lots of others supporters left behind by Hon. Sidi.
Earlier, Hon. Ashiru said Sidi political support group have been part of the family and would welcome them back home and embrace, and work together for the victory of PDP in kaduna state
“They’ve been part of the family. It’s not a crime for anybody to aspirant. And now that they’ve realised the fact that we’ve to work together, and their back home, we will embrace them and work together for the victory of PDP in kaduna state”, he said
On the insecurity in the state, Hon. Ashiru lamented that the APC led administration does not have capacity to managed the insecurity crises, adding after seven good solid years in office the insecurity problem is getting deterroriated to an alarming situation.
“It’s unfortunate that this people, the APC led administration have no capacity to manage the crises. They’ve been in government for the last seven years and till today the issue of insecurity is deteriorating to an alarming situation, and nothing serious is been done.
“Yesterday Monday evening, there was another serious kidnapping in Zaria. People were in traffic jam and they invaded them, and took away about hundred to the bushes.
“So we’re we. And this people have been saying that they’re doing their best. I don’t know when they’ll do their best. For your information people are migrating from kaduna to other save heavens…to Kano, which is even better than Kaduna. So we continue with what we’ve resulted to, and that’s prayers.
