The General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, Pastor Yohana Buru has called on Muslims and Christians across the 36 states of the country to embarked on ceaseless prayers and fasting for almighty God to bring an end to the increasing insecurity challenges bedeviling peace stability in the country.
Buru added that terrorism, banditry ,kidnapping and other insecurity activities have created a negative impact on the educational sector especially in the North ,while forcing many boarding and tertiary schools to close -down.
Buru made this cal in an interview with Journalists in kaduna.
The Cleric also revealed that God is not happy with current situation in the country, adding there is the need for citizens to go back to theid creator and begged him .
He draw the attention of Imams and pastors across the country to be more committed toward praying for peace stability in the country.while offering special prayers in the mid-night for almighty God to save the nation.
According to him, Banditry,kidnapping and other terrorism activities has affected all sector of human endeavor which include Education,mine & Agriculture, Tourism , business and other economic activities, hence the need to embacked on ceaseless prayer and fasting in the country for almighty God to bring an end to the increasing threat of insecurity challenges
As the world celebrate international widows day,hundreds of married women were turned widows with plenty orohans due to insecurity challenges that is affecting the nation.
The new trending of kidnapping schools students has affected the educational sector of all the 19 northern Nigeria and hence the need to called for collaborative effort toward tackling the situation
He said,”God listen to the cry of his people through prayers and fasting, adding that we must go back to God to salvage the nation”
The high cost of Food prices across the country amids of Covid 19 pandemic is a big problem toward restoring peace stability in the country in view of the daily increasing food stuff in the market.
He said, despite the security challenges bedeviling the nation, our prayer remains the only option to heal the nation against all the problems that is affecting the nation.
“I called on pastor and imans to embark on prayers for peace and stability in the country”
Buru charged religious clerics to prayer for Nigerian Army toward succeeding in all their operation both home and abroad
While appreciating the effort the Civilian JTF, Vigilantees, Hunters groups of Nigeria and all the para-military groups across the north on their daily voluntary services toward ptotecting lives and properties in the region
Also contributing, Mallam Gambo Abdullahi , appealed to both muslims and christains to equally return to God, while prayers and fasting in order for God to heal the land
Saying ,” God listen to all our demand when we go back to him”
He then appealed to Nigerian to be their brothers keepers,
