Candidate applying for the position of a Professor must have spent not less than 15 years in the University system with demonstrable evidence of productive scholarship and must possess PhD degree in the relevant field.
Candidate applying for Associate Professor must have spent not less than 12 years in the University system with proven evidence of capacity for independent and productive scholarship. Candidate must also possess PhD in the relevant field.
Candidate for Senior Lecturer must have spent not less than 8 years in the University system and must possess PhD in the relevant field. They are expected to show evidence of Academic and Administrative leadership.
Candidate for Lecturer I and Lecturer II are required to have spent not less than 4 years in the University system. Possession of Ph.D is an added advantage. They must possess a minimum of M.A. or M.Sc in the relevant field of study.
Candidate for the position of Assistant Lecturer is required to have a minimum of M. A. or MSc degree in relevant field of study.
VACANCIES FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF
REGISTRY
(1) Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR)
Candidate must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University with 6 years cognate experience. Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
(2) Assistant Registrar (AR)
Candidate must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University plus at least 4 years post qualification cognate experience.
(3) Administrative Officer (AO)
Candidate for the position of Administrative Officer must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University in Arts or Social Sciences. A minimum of 3 years post qualification cognate experience is required.
ACADEMIC PLANNING DIRECTORATE
Principal/Senior Academic Planning Officer I
Academic Planning Officer II
Candidate for this position must B.Sc. Statistics or Mathematics with Statistics from a recognized University.
BURSARY
Accountant I
A good honours degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting with 5 years post qualification experience in the Bursary of a University or cognate institutions membership of a recognized Professional body is an added advantage. Must be computer literate and have practical knowledge of Micro-Soft Excel.
Accountant II
A good honours degree or HND in Accounting, must be computer literate and have practical knowledge of Micro Soft Excel.
Assistant Executive Officer (Accounts)
SSCE/Equivalent with 5 credits at one or two sitting respectively. English language and Mathematics inclusive plus a Diploma in Accounting; Must be Computer literate and have practical knowledge of Micro Soft Excel.
Store Keeper III
SSCE/equivalent with 5 credits, at one or two sittings respectively, English Language and Mathematics inclusive; must be computer literate.
