On 22nd of February 2024, President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of a new management team of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) pending their confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

Aminu Ismail
Executive Director
Aminu Ismail is a certified accountant and Business administrator and is currently the Executive Director of Asset Management Corp, Nigeria (AMCON).
Aminu Ismail earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
Adeshola Lamidi
Executive Director
Mr. Adeshola Lamidi is a highly experienced finance expert, boasting a remarkable 25-year career in Investment Banking and Risk Management. His extensive professional journey features key roles at renowned global financial institutions, including JP Morgan Chase in New York, Prudential Securities New York, and KPMG LLP Washington, specializing in Asset-backed Structured Finance and Investment Banking.
Adeshola’s academic foundation was laid at the esteemed Government College Ibadan in Nigeria. He then advanced to the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the prestigious Ivy League school at Columbia University in New York, where he achieved a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics with a focus on Finance. Further academic accomplishments include a second Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from the University of Reading in the UK.
In recent years, Adeshola has been a key figure at the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), making substantial contributions to the Risk Management and Enforcement directorates. Holding an Assistant Vice president position, he plays a crucial role within the organization as Senior Management.
Lucky Adaghe
Executive Director
Lucky is a chartered Accountant, 5year accountancy and audit experience with Akintola Williams Deloitte & Touché, Nigeria (formerly Adeyinka Isichei + Co).
Strong experience in finance, banking, relationship management and customer service.
Expert knowledge of financial control frameworks, forecasting, budgeting, variance and trend analysis.
Working knowledge of SAP accounting package, MS Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Result-oriented Personality with good listening, verbal and written communication skills CPA, CA, Canadian designation in process M.Sc. Physics- with Distinction, B.Sc. Physics – First Class.
