When you walk with God, fix your eyes on Him because the help you desire comes from Him alone. The unfortunate thing with breaking your focus on God is that you will lose track of His voice and when that happens, you will lose direction. That voice suggesting alternatives to you since you consider God’s way to be slow want to move you to a zone of directionlessness (no direction). When men remove their eyes from God, they have no more access to the voice of God. No matter how pressurized you are, just keep your eyes fixed on God.
Life’s journey is like a road with so many turns, if you get distracted, you may lose view of the One who knows the way and end up missing your way. So what you do is to fix your eyes with utmost attention and avoid being distracted. Distraction will definitely come your way as you journey in life. They can come in form of friends, gists, social meetings, fashion, prayerlessness, weakness, frivolities etc. Even when some distractions appear totally harmless and slightly good to your flesh, they came to fight what your spirit is enjoying and that is your connection with God.
When you fix your eyes on God, other things bow at His feet. Those things are too minor to become the focal point. Frown at distractions so that you can maintain your focus on God.

*Prayer* : Father, I receive grace today to frown at every distraction and keep my eyes on You so that I can hear You when You speak to direct my life in Jesus name, Amen.
