In a significant boost to the healthcare services in Katsina State, Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda on Tuesday, received a generous donation of a brand new Ambulance from Submed Nigeria Ltd.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Muhammadu Buhari House, where His Excellency Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was presented with an Emergency Intensive Care Ambulance by SUBMED Nigeria Limited, a reputable company specializing in the sales and supplies of medical equipment in Nigeria.
The governor, visibly pleased with the well-equipped ambulance, took the time to inspect the vehicle before it was taken into service.
Expressing his appreciation, Governor Radda acknowledged that the Ambulance is fully equipped with all the necessary medical facilities to provide immediate first aid to patients en route to the hospital. He emphasized that this contribution will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare needs of patients in the state.
As a testament to the government’s commitment to ensuring efficient healthcare services, Governor Radda announced that a skilled and trained driver would be designated to operate the Ambulance. Special training will be provided to the selected driver to handle the vehicle effectively and ensure prompt response during emergencies.
The presentation ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the Secretary to the Government of the State, Architect Ahmed Dangiwa; the Chief of Staff at the Government House, Alhaji Jabiru Tsauri; and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji.
Governor Radda extended his heartfelt gratitude to management of Submed Nigeria Ltd for this generous donation, emphasizing that such partnerships between the private sector and the government are vital in advancing healthcare delivery programs in the state.
The addition of the Emergency Intensive Care Ambulance to Katsina State’s medical resources will undoubtedly bolster emergency response capabilities and contribute to the well-being of the citizens.
