Eid-el Kabir: CAN Borno felicitates with Muslim Ummah

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Borno State Chapter and the Auxiliary Bishop of Catholic Diocese, Maiduguri,  Most Reverend Dr. John Bogna Bakeni, has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir celebration

This is contained in the good will message by the Chairman and made available to the media in the state today.

Bishop Bakeni prayed Allah to accept the prayers and supplications of the Muslim faithful and reward their sacrifices.

“On behalf of the entire Christian community in Borno State, I wish to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Borno State and beyond as they mark the Eid-el Kabir celebration this year 2023. 

May Allah accept your prayers and supplications and reward you for your sacrifices.

Let us continue to preach and work for justice and peaceful harmony in our dear State of Borno.

“As we share and exchange gifts, let us remember the poor and the underprivileged around and among us,” the CAN Chairman was quoted in the statement.
