GPFN, Others Sign World Peace Agreement At GPLC Indo-Pacific 2023

The Global Peace Foundation Nigeria (GPFN) joined other world peacebuilders to sign the Delhi Peace Agreement, in India for the sustenance of peaceful coexistence in the world.

The delegates came from around the globe and gathered to discuss innovative ways to foster global peace.

The peace module was modeled on the One Family under God campaign, which the Nigeria Global Peace Foundation affiliates office is doing to seek to mitigate any identity base violence and make the world a peaceful place for everybody. 

The President of, the Global Peace Foundation, Mr. James P. Flynn, directed the attention of the world toward the future and the necessary steps to be ready for peaceful coexistence through proactive measures towards ensuring the sustenance of global peace.

He emphasized the need for bold and collaborative efforts that transcend artificial boundaries as man strives toward a future that lies beyond them. 

The Country Director, of Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, assured of his resilience and commitment to preaching peace in every nook and cranny of Nigeria by bringing to the knowledge of all that they are a family created by God and desiring all to live in peace and harmony irrespective of any different.

Dr. Moon took a critical aspect that the Global Peace Foundation focused on the ongoing global turmoil, highlighted the failure of Western principles towards ensuring peaceful coexistence, and urged all stakeholders to fill the resulting moral vacuum with positive aspirations rooted in universal principles.

He emphasized the importance of peace and how it could be achieved in the face of conflicts and through freedom, as great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and  Nelson Mandela demonstrated.

Dr. Vikarant Tomar emphasized the importance of cherishing our similarities rather than fixating on our differences, leaving a lasting impact on all fortunate enough to attend.

The conference 2023 kicked off with a youth sustaineth: Leap Hub Challenge 2023 Inauguration where students at Manav Rachna University presented Innovative solutions to preserve the environment, mentors assisted the students as they identified problems and came up with solutions to present during the challenge.

The goal of the youth empowerment track was to improve youths’ approach to solving problems, how to think from a global perspective and become moral and innovative leaders to rethink, redefine, and transform. 

It also involved transforming education for the future by analyzing new trends, ideas, and policies to prepare students to be successful in all aspects of their lives and contribute to overall peace in the world. 

The Values-Based Peacebuilding Track examined effective models, best practices, practical tools, and how to apply peacebuilding to educational programs, youth leadership development, and community-based peacebuilding.  

Environmental conservation seeks to promote environmental conservation through caring for the environment, improving the quality of life by not compromising future generations, and protecting greenery by combatting waste.

Dr. Markanday Rai, Chairman, of Global Peace Foundation India, said the Global Peace Foundation advances human consciousness and peace by seeking to ensure youth involvement, build youth, and build the nation towards having a peaceful environment. 

Dr. Binny Sareen led a transformative meditation session, provided guidance to help individuals discover inner peace amidst the chaos of everyday life, empowering the audience to derive happiness from the ordinary and build resilience during challenging times, and find illumination in the darkest moments.

Dr. Marsudi Syuhud seeks to uphold the noble values of tradition in the modern world with the support of the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) and the passion of the youth, he reflected on the futility of conflict and emphasized the need to move beyond religious differences. 

He shared his relationship with religion, expressing his aspiration for a truly secular world where diverse populations unite while Dr. Syuhud underscored the importance of effective communication and peaceful conflict resolution to pave the way for a better future for Indonesia and the world.

Dr. Vivkrant Tomar, noted the power of storytelling, from the mythical lands of gods to the captivating tales of man’s most significant leaders, and painted a vivid and powerful picture of man’s history that centered on peace and the nature of the world was bone-chilling and thought-provoking, culminating in a call to action to promote the concept of an integration commission. 

To Dr. Tomar, he emphasized the importance of cherishing man’s similarities rather than fixating on the differences, leaving a lasting impact on all fortunate enough to attend.
