Philanthropist, Mrs Agbaslonwe Feeds, Clothes Kaduna, Benue Less Privileged

A philanthropist and member of Women for Peace in Nigeria (WOPIN), Chief Dr. Mrs Augusta Ngozi Agbaslonwe has graciously distributed clothes and food items to less privileged women in Kaduna and Benue states.

The items distributed to the under privileged women during Sallah in Benue and Kaduna states include rams, wrappers, rice and other grains.

Speaking to journalists while distributing the items in Kaduna on Monday, the National President, of WOPIN, Dr. Maryam Abdullahi said that the beneficiaries were drawn from the North and South of Kaduna State.

She explained that the gesture is aimed at assisting the needy especially widows and their children to enable them celebrate with happiness and joy during the festivity.

Dr. Agbaslonwe, while appealing for support towards the less privileged people in the society, called on individuals and corporate organizations  to join her in giving to the poor for sake of God Almighty.

In an interview, the beneficiaries overwhelmingly expressed delight and joy for the gesture and prayed God  continues to provide for Dr. Agbaslonwe and WOPIN for supporting the less privileged ones.
