…Urge parents t present their children

Parents and caregivers have been charged to make their children available for vaccination as Kaduna State commenced another round of polio immunization campaign.
The exercise scheduled for 14th – 17th May, 2022, will be conducted on the streets, house to house, markets, motor parks among others.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the State Coordinator Journalists Initiative on immunization Against Polio (JAP) Kaduna State Chapter, Lawal A. Dogara.
The statement maintained that the immunization would enable children to grow healthier and therefore advised parents to allowed the vaccinators to attend to their wards.
The statement further explained that all adequate arrangement had been put in place for the smooth conduct of the exercise by the State Government, Development partners and other stakeholders.
The statement commended the traditional rulers and religion leaders for their effort and urged them to put in more effort for the success of the exercise.
The statement also appealed to eligible persons in the state to visit health facilities for Covid-19 Vaccination.
It commended the World Health Organization for partnering with JAP with a view to educating the parents and the general public on the importance of immunization with a view to eradicating Polio and other child killer diseases.
The release also appealed to the ad-hoc staff engaged for the conduct of Polio immunization to be sincere in their activities for the progress of the exercise.
