National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and Youth Forum Kaduna State chapter have appealed to Honourable Mohammed Sha’aban to contest for Kaduna governorship ahead of the 2023 general election.
The Groups made the call on Friday while addressing a press conference jointly signed by the Chief Principal aid to NANS President, Comrade Abdulafis Anifowoshe and Comrade Uzaifa Bello the Kaduna State Joint Campus Counsel (JCC).
“We are here to today to make a request that Hon. Sani Mohammed Sha’aban
Should come out and contest for the gubernatorial election in Kaduna State
irrespective of the party.
“Our team declare Hon. Sani Mohammed Sha’aban as the best candidate to take
over and consolidate on the gains made by the present Kaduna State
Government in 2023″.
” We also declare our support within our structure all over the twenty-three Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Wards and throw our support for him”.
“We are calling on Hon. Sani Sha’aban Danburan Zazzau to join the 2023 Kaduna Gubernatorial race”.
The groups described the former member of the House of
Representatives; Hon. Sha’aban as a humble and consummate grassroot politician, they said.
“Hon. Sha’aban a God sent to Kaduna State who understands the plight and pains of the poor”.
They also raised alarm over the rising insecurity in Kaduna state thereby calling on the governor of the state to put in more efforts in fighting insecurity.
” We also call on the people of Kaduna State to be more vigilant because security is everybody’s business”.
The Groups also sympathized with the victims of the recent attack in Kaduna state.
