Commander General of Nigerian Hunter Council, NHC, Amb. Dr. Joshua W. Osatimehin said that all the personnel of the Organization who remained dedicated to Nigeria and the NHC shall have their names written in gold. He said this at the end of a four days capacity training for members of Nigeria Hunters Council (NHC) North Central in Jos, Plateau state. Due to the importance of the NHC to Nigeria and Nigerians the Nigerian Police Force agreed to train members of the Nigeria’s Hunters Council on how best to collaborate with the Force on How to Manage Security and it’s Challenges.
The Commandant General, therefore urged the personnel to accord all the due respect to security agencies in the country. Also, He charged the hunters to be law abiding and dedicate their lives to ensuring that loss of lives across the country is eradicated.
Furthermore, He charged the Governor of the state to partner with NHC in order to help solve some of the financial and logistical challenges facing it.
“We are appealing to H.E Rt. Hon. Simon Bako LalongExecutive Governor of Plateau State and other Governors to partner with the Nigeria Hunter’s Council We need patrol vehicles, Motorcycles, befitting Office and we also appealing to the Governor to undertake the payment of Monthly Stipends of personnel of hunters so that they can perform their duties effectively.
He concluded by encouraging the Plateau State Governor to use His good office as the Chairman Northern Governor’s Forum to key other Governors in the Zone praising the activities of NHC for the betterment of their Zone and Nigeria at Large.
