Atiku, Emmanuel, others call on Nigerians to unite in order to fight insecurity

former vice President Alh Atiku Abubakar has urge Nigerians to embrace unity in diversity as a tools to fight poverty, insecurity, backwardness and bad governance in the country. He stated this in an annual lecture on “Unity in Diversity” organised by Areas media and development forum held recently at Arewa in Kaduna.


Atiku one time peoples Democratic party Presidential aspirant also invited all Nigerians to flaps on their wings together and fly away from the danger zone and get a rid of these traps, according to him “this can only happen if we can vote for the Wise party and we can see our potentials” the choice is in your hands. “
“Unity is your strength through the unity we can survived and over come challenges, as long as you stayed united no harm can come your way.”
In his address the guest speaker of the lecture Mr Udom Emmanuel the governor of Akwa Ibom state, thanked the leadership and members of Arewa Media interactive and development forum for having Nigeria as a strong project in the there mind with hope in the unity of this great country, to build the bridge of unity at a time the monsters of tribalism and ethnicism are tearing the nation apart.


The governor also said “Nigerians must sit down and talk to ourselves, rather than talk at ourselves, we must listen to understand, rather than listen to responds, we must build the bridge of unity rather than walls of diversion.” “We also must realizes that every part of our country is an equal stakeholder in the Nigeria project and work actively to harness the best of our diversity for the good of our country.


” So we can begins the process of healing and reuniting our country, safe in the knowledge that whatever language we speak, what ever culture we spouse or what ever religion we practice, we are all Nigerians and we should all come together to build a united, peaceful and prosperous nation. Earlier in his address the Kaduna state governor Malan Nasir Ahmad Ei-rufai ,represented by the state commissioner of women resources and social development, Hajiya Hafsat Baba, has expressed it’s appreciation on the delivering of this important topic “unity in diversity” and welcome the former vice president and also a Kaduna born Alh Atiku Abubakar Wazirin Adamawa for his gesture of attending this great lecture topic.
