BREAKING: Bandits invaded Kaduna Primary School, kidnapped pupils, teachers

Again unknown armed gunmen have reportedly invaded a primary School in Birinin Gwari Local government area of Kaduna state and kidnapped a number of pupils and teachers yet to be disclosed.

The Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna, Mr Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Monday morning said the number of the people kidnapped are yet to be asscertained.

“The Kaduna State Government is receiving security reports of kidnapping of some pupils and teachers in a primary school located in Rema, Birnin Gwari local government area.

“According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred at an LEA Primary School in Birinin Gwari LGA”,it stated, adding that the government is still recovering the security reports of kidnapping of pupils and teachers in Birnin Gwari LGA.
“The Kaduna State Government is currently obtaining details on the actual number of pupils and teachers reported to have been kidnapped and will issue a comprehensive statement as soon as possible”, it added. End
