Aminu Zaria’s work at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), the regulatory body responsible for the technical and commercial regulation of upstream petroleum operations in Nigeria has in no little measure, contributed to value creation.
The commission was established in August 2021 following the passage of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021.
NUPRC promotes sustainable value creation from Nigeria’s petroleum resources.
His administrative expertise and collaboration skills are essential to the commission’s success. With his contributions, NUPRC continues to regulate and develop Nigeria’s petroleum industry effectively.
Aminu Zaria’s dedication to his role has earned him recognition within the industry, and his work remains crucial to Nigeria’s petroleum sector. His leadership supports the growth and development of the industry.
Aminu Zaria is a prominent figure in Nigeria’s petroleum industry, serving as Head of General Administration at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
He oversees administrative functions, ensuring the commission’s smooth operation.
Key roles he plays includes, administrative leadership, where he manages NUPRC’s administrative affairs, vital to regulating Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry.

With yearnings from several quarters for him to venture into politics so he can serve his people better, Aminu Zaria cannot run away from destiny.
Seeing his past and present contributions to the well being of the downtrodden, it is not surprising why many are calling on him to venture into politics and provide qualitative representation.
Born in in Unguwan Shanu, Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Aminu Zaria has been a source of joy to many in Kaduna State and beyond.
He attended LGA Unguwan Sarki Primary School, from where he proceeded to Government Technical School, Soba between 1977 and 1983.
Being educational focused, he subsequently attended polytechnic and university, where he obtained a diploma and a degree.
He is a man of the moment and one for the future, which many see as a beacon of hope in Nigeria’s political landscape.
