Tsaragi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State on Sunday, received guests from every part of the country to celebrate 11th Annual Mawlid Anniversary organised by NURUL FAYDA Tijanniya Group.
The Mawlid held on Sunday, February 2, 2026 at Etsu Aliyu Pavilion, Government Secondary School, Tsaragi, was attended by Etsu Tsaragi, HRM Alhaji Dr. Abdullah Aliyu, Sheikh Mahmud Saraki; Sheikh Muhammad Sirajudeen Inyass, Sheikh Mahmud Inyass and other prominent Muslim clerics.
In his welcome address President of Nurul-Faydah, Sheikh Thani Ahmad Inyass Baba Tawfeeq said the annual Mawlid was designed to bring Tijjanniya Group members together to extol virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and discuss topical issues in Islam.
Sheikh Baba Tawfeeq said the Mawlid aimed at promoting and propagating Islam, noting that Clerics from Chad, Bauchi, Kogi and Niger States graced the event.
He appreciated the Estu Tsaragi for supporting the initiative as well as members of NURUL FAYDA Tijanniya Group Tsaragi Emirate for contributing their resources to organise the colourful event.
Sheikh Mahmud Inyass led special prayer for HRM ETSU Tsaragi for his consistency and commitment towards promoting islamic religion and community development.
The ESTU Tsaragi, HRM Alhaji Dr. Abdullah Aliyu while fielding questions from journalists described this year Mawlid anniversary as unique, especially with attendance of Clerics from different parts of Nigeria and Chad.
ESTU Abdullah Aliyu used the opportunity to pray for peace, unity and progress of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
Highlight of 11th Mawlid Anniversary of Maolana Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullahi Inyass was zikri by notable scholars from Tijanniyat Muslim Movement Worldwide.
