Edo Community, Uhonmora Lauds FG As Community Hosts Empowerment Workshop For 266 Women, Youths, Start Up Capital Disbursed

The Presidency has conducted a two days intensive training on liquid and bar Soap for Women and Youths including Start up Capital at Uhonmora Ora community in Owan West local government area of Edo State.

The training programme was conducted at the famous Uhonmora civic centre which is located in the centre of the Community.

The training was done by the Border Communities Development Agency under in conjunction with the Management of Instinct Resources Service Ltd

The training exercise started with accreditation of over two hundred and Sixty Six participants of both Female and Male persons drawn from Uhonmora Ora community.
Addressing the gathering the representatives of Border Communities Development Agency Mrs Atozie Sarah Ngozi and Mr Rwang Bulus informed them of the rationale behind the training and the accompanied start up Capital benefits.
They further harped on the need for the beneficiaries to make judicious use provided Capital for business purposes and advise against wasting the fund.
On their parts the train ing instructors Hauwa Pogu Mai and her partner Hauwa Apagu Satumari further emphasize on the nitty gritty of the training titled Liquid Soap production and bar Soap with a course out line that unveiled introduction, Soap making Basic / theory. Definition of terms . Safety precautions/ materials/Equipment. Liquid Soap Recipes and formulation/ Procedures.Bar Soap Recipes and formulation. Practical- Liquid Soap Production. Brief knowledge of the business and Marketing Strategies in Liquid Soap and bar Soap. Lastly was the Question and Answer segiment used to determine their involvement in the training exercise.
They further disclose to them on the need to pay proper attention to the training as the last mentioned point will be the yarn stick to determine their participation in the training.

A community Elder Mr Victor Ajayi , Vice President of Uhonmora Ora Progressives Union worldwide Mrs Evangelina Agbai and the secretary General, Mr Austin Emokhare at the occasion commended the federal government and the facilitator of the training exercise to Uhonmora-Ora for the kind gesture.

They urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the acquired Skills and the start up Capital as directed by the Scheme. They also prayed God Almighty for guardians.

The beneficiaries on their parts expressed delight for be part of the federal government initiative and harped on the need to go with the directives of the scheme .

High points of the training exercise was participants in groups engaged in practical production of liquid Soap and bar Soap inline with the directives of the theoretical training exercise. The presentation of certificates, confirmation of start up Capital from received SMS alert among others.
