The Kaduna Concerned Groups Forum (KCGF) has expressed strong condemnation over the increasing foreign interference in Nigeria’s domestic affairs.

The group has called on the Federal Government to take urgent and decisive action to protect Nigeria’s sovereignty and autonomy.

This was contained in a statement signed by the State Coordinator of KCGF, Comrd Kamal Muhammad, emphasizing that the display of foreign flags during a recent national peaceful protest was a troubling message about the commitment of certain individuals to Nigeria’s sovereignty and collective progress.

He urged the government to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the act, which he described as unpatriotic and divisive.

The KCGF demands that the government takes concrete steps to address the issue, including investigating the incident, enforcing legal consequences, and promoting unity and patriotism among citizens.

The group believes that holding those accountable for acts that undermine Nigeria’s sovereignty is essential for preserving democratic institutions and processes.

The KCGF’s statement comes amid growing concerns over foreign influence in Nigeria’s domestic affairs, with some individuals and groups accused of colluding with external actors to destabilize the country.

The group’s call for action is seen as a timely intervention to protect Nigeria’s sovereignty and promote national unity.
