In a visit to his country home, Rt. Honourable Ezekiel A. Adaji, a stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), addressed questions from Benue State PDP youth, outlining his vision for inclusive leadership and party unity.
Adaji, who is a frontrunner for the position of Chairman of the PDP in Benue State, emphasized the need for an all-encompassing stewardship style that considers every interest and promotes extensive dialogue from the grassroots to the state level.
“We shall build compromises in a give and take manner that will satisfy the majority of our teeming members,” he stated. “We will encourage all our members to respect leadership and hierarchies while heeding to the demands of the majority and communities.”
Adaji also stressed the importance of building a unified party, where those who lose out in contests are accorded prominent campaign and post-victory roles, minimizing the incidences of working against the party in general elections.
“Those who work for and against the party are all victims of our collective loss,” he noted. “Let’s start a new page of working, campaigning, winning, and benefiting together.”
The PDP youth, who were impressed by Adaji’s vision, pledged their support for his candidacy, urging him to remain committed to his promises.
Adaji’s speech has been hailed as a beacon of hope for the PDP in Benue State, with many party faithfuls expressing optimism about his potential leadership.
