The Executive Governor of Kano State His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf wishes to condole with the family, friends and the good people of Kano state over the death of Malam Abdullahi Tijjani Dawakin Kudu.
This was expressed on a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, made available at the weekend.
“It is with deep sense of sorrow and grief, that we express our sincere condolence to the immediate family of Abdullahi Tijjani who died in the evening hours of Friday 11th August 2023” H.E. Abba Kabir Yusuf said.
According to the statement, bdullahi Tijjani lived a modest life both as an academic, Islamic scholar, activist and a politician.
“Indeed, Kano State and Dawakin Kudu community in particular, will greatly miss the exit of late Abdullahi Tijjani.
“His burial rites will take place in early hours of Saturday 12th August, 2023 at his Dawakin Kudu residence in accordance with Islamic orientation.
“We pray that Allah in his infinite mercy repose his gentle soul in Jannatul Firdaus, Amin,’ the statement said.
