*Orders constant raids on identified black spots

The Kaduna State Police Command under the watch of CP M.Y. Garba, acting in line with the operational strategies of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun PhD, NPM has recorded another tactical milestone in its relentless onslaught against criminal elements in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammed Jalige, dated Saturday July 8, 2023, which informed that 207 suspects were arrested within a week.
The command therefore, ordered for constant raids on identified black spots following the outcry by the good people of Kaduna State on the activities of criminals within Kaduna metropolis and environs, that has yielded a positive result with the arrest of 207 suspects in connection to various crimes especially phone snatching, ATM swap, armed robbery, thuggery (Sara-Suka) and other heinous crimes.
These arrests were made in different locations within the city centre and a number of recoveries were made. Investigations are currently ongoing, some of the suspects have been charged to court, while others are currently undergoing an in-depth inquiries after which they will also be charged to court of competent jurisdiction.
The Commissioner of Police applauded Area Commanders, DPOs and Tactical Commanders for their resilience and professionalism in curbing crimes and urged them to sustain the tempo.
He equally admonished parents to warn their wards against committing all forms of criminalities as they cannot evade the prowling eyes of the Police.
