The newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) and the immediate Past Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Yekini Ayoku has paid a farewell visit to Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli in his Palace on Tuesday April 11, 2023.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kaduna State Command, DSP Muhammad Jalige, dated April 12, 2023, said that Mr. Ayoku was posted to Nigerian Maritime Authority following his promotion to the rank of (AIG).
He led officers from Kaduna State Police Command in paying a farewell visit to the Emir.
The outgoing Commissioner appreciated the contributions, support and the fatherly advises he received from the emirate during his tour of duty in the state.
In his remarks, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli said, Kaduna State will continue to remember his professional display in discharging his duty.
Emir Bamalli said, during Ayoku’s regime issues of crime particularly Banditry has been reduced.
He congratulated him for the promotion to the rank of AIG in the Nigerian Police and wished him huge success in his new assigned position.
