Yuletide: Kaduna CP Tasks Area Commanders, DPOs, Tactical Commanders On Inter Agency Collaboration, Prompt Response To Distress

As the year 2022 is winding up and the Yuletide season sets in, the Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, CP Yekini A. Ayoku, psc(+), mni, has on Thursday December 1, 2022, held a strategic meeting with all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and Tactical Commanders of the Command at the Police Officers Mess.

A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Mohammed Jalige, dated December 1, said that CP Ayoku at the meeting, reminded the Senior Officers that there is need to reactivate a prompt effective response system in ensuring criminal elements are prevented from breaching the peace and safety of lives and property of the good citizens of the state.

He also tasked them to leverage on the collaborative efforts with sister security agencies which the Kaduna State Command has established in sustaining the peaceful existence in all the 23 local government areas of the state.

CP Ayoku further charged them to intensify surveillance on all facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across the state to prevent enemies of democracy from accessing said facilities to vandalize.

The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Yekini A. Ayoku, psc(+), mni, while thanking them for attending the meeting within a short notice, further tasked them on sustaining a cordial Police-Civil relationship in order to build confidence and trust among the citizenry who would want to promptly make available; timely information that will prevent crime in all nooks and crannies of the state.
