A non governmental organisation, CLEEN Foundation in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, has organized a five-day capacity building workshop with the theme, “Election Security Management” for police officers across the six geo-political zones in the country.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kaduna State Command, DSP Muhammed Jalige said the event taking place across the country, has that of North West taking place at the Butterfly Hotel, Kaduna and it commenced on Monday November 21, 2022.
The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Yekini A. Ayoku, psc(+), mni, in a welcome address while declaring the workshop open, charged participants to concentrate and listen with wrapt attention as it will be of paramount importance if the knowledge acquired will be extended down the ladder.
Represented by the PPRO, Muhammed Jalige, he 0commended their partners Cleen Foundation, describing the workshop as timely.
CP Ayoku said that such partnerships are healthy for the country in view of the importance of additional knowledge it would impact on officers of the Police Force.
Police officers from the seven North West states, Kano, Jigawa, Kebbi, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara and hosts are participating at the training.
