Arewa Youth Groups Appoints Mock Samuel Kure As Acting Chairman

Following the step down of its Chairman, Mallam Ibrahim Baturu, the Congress of Coalition of Arewa Youth Groups has appointed Mr. Mock Samuel Kure as the groups acting Chairman.
In a statement signed by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Lawal Muhammad, said “this is following the step down of the Chairman, Mallam Ibrahim Bature, who is away on a study leave, to pursue a PhD degree oversee”.
“Mr Mock Samuel Kure hails from Goska, Kaninkon Chiefdom, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State. He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a one time Special Assistant on Rural and Community Development to Kaduna State Government, a former Legislative Aid to the Honourable Member representing Jema’a Sanga Federal Constituency, and a Lecturer with the Department of Zoology, Federal University of Lafia”.
He said “Mr Mock has come on board with his wealth of experience, knowledge and skills to steer the Coalition to greater heights, it is therefore a promising and new dawn that will break all chains, surmount all challenges to bring effective and meaningful development that will unite all interest groups”.
According to him, other executives of the Coalition are still holding their various and respective positions.
“However, other executives of the Coalition are still holding their various and respective positions, Viza Viz: Sylvia Sarki is the Secretary General of the Coalition, Lawal Muhammad: Publicity Secretary, Elizabeth Isah: Director of new media, Barrister Faruk Mohammed is heading the Legal Affairs Directorate among others.
“The president Abuja Original Inhabitants Youths Empowerment Organisation, Commandant Isaac David (Garkuwan Matasan Arewa) remains the Board of Trustee Chairman”.
“We hereby call on the general public to remain calm, as nothing is changed, the Coalition of Arewa Youth groups remains focused and hereby restate its commitment to promoting peace, bridge building across the country and protecting the interest of the Arewa youths”.
