The federal ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development has organised a two day engagement and reorientation workshop for independent Monitors and stakeholders of the national social investment programme (NSIP)Kaduna state, held at Arewa house Kaduna.
While having an interactive session with newsmen, a Senior consultant in charge of the northwest zone of the ministry for humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, Alhaji Sani Suleiman explained that, “they are here to provide a consultancy service to interface with independent monitors for monitoring and evaluation of schools vendors, Npower beneficiaries, conditional cash transfer beneficiaries among others
Alhaji Sani also however, urged the independent monitors to give maximum cooperation with the state coordinator for effective implementation of the Ministry’s programmes
In her remarks, the special assistant to the Kaduna State governor on social investment, Rebecca Maulame Padona,who represented the Kaduna State FOCAL PERSON of the ministry, madam Saude Amina,has advised the independent monitors to work hard dillegently with prosperity, integrity and effectiveness for now and the future generation.
Also, in her address the Kaduna state independent monitors co- ordinator Aisha Bello, expressed her delight over meritorious award she received as best state coordinator.
She further emphasized that she is satisfied with the work the independent Monitors in Kaduna State are doing.
