2023: Again, Drama in Kano as Lawmaker Returns To APC After Few Days In NNPP

Ahead of 2023 general elections, political calculation of Kano state, is changing as drama continue to rocked politics in the State.

The member representing Bagwai/Shanono Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, Ali Ibrahim Isah Shanono, has returned to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) few days after defection to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Recalled that, 14 House of Assembly members in Kano have defected to the NNPP from the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the APC in the state.

Shanono, a member of APC, also defected to the NNPP, but later dumped the new party for APC.

This was disclosed In a letter he sent to the house to notify the lawmakers that he has deactivated his membership of NNPP and rejoined the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC)

Hon Isah Shanono pledged to work round the clock for the success of the APC party and it leadership at the forthcoming polls across the country.

Similarly, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau who was also, the former governor of Kano state, dumped APC for the NNPP on Wednesday. Many other aggrieved APC chieftains have also joined the fast growing party.
