I’ll fix Nigeria problems under 1year- GYB boasted

Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB) of Kogi state has boasted that he’ll turn around the misfortune of Nigeria under 365 days in office if elected as President, especially the worsening insecurity situation ravaging the country.

He made the assertion in several interviews and fora with journalists from across the 36 states of the federation at the just concluded Second GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s political and crime correspondents and editors held in Abuja.

Governor Bello however refused to disclosed his intended magic strategies to journalists when asked to explained further, on the ground that security issues are not shared in public, adding that he has done it in kogi state despite it complexity in centrality nature in terms of more prone to insecurity.

According to him, not only he can name and shame terrorists if wins but also dealt with it in kogi and the records there, saying he had given 72 hours to a LG chairman over security reports received or take over his job and issue addressed.

The Governor also asserted that a total of 21millions of Nigerians with their PVC have already indicated interest to vote for him as president in 2023, and the number is still counting, and assured that he’s transmitting from GYB to PYB God willing.

He also said that the number of the interested intended voters were generated from 3 or 4 groups only, saying the records are out there in the data for everyone to accessed or verified.

The presidential hopeful also stated that he’s not afraid of other presidential aspirants in the All Progressive Congress (APC), no matter their status, also stressing that his records of achievements in areas of youths and women employment, and in peace and security among others are there speaking for him.

Governor Bello restated that you can only become a champion when you fight and defeat a champion, stressing that they’re in the gain to win and to restore hopes.
He recalled bringing over 41 million people into the party as committee chairman regardless of the a claimed party leaders.

He also disclosed that only APC has the determination and sole responsibility of nominating his running mate if he emerged victorious as flagbearer of the party, which is sure banker.

He however reiterated that if given the opportunity to nominate one, wouldn’t mind to nominate woman as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election to set the record for Nigeria.

On which region expected to pick his running mate since the record has been either North or South for president and vice president and vise versa, given the centrality of the Kogi many have referred to as middle belt region, GYB could not be explicit.

Instead, the youth Governor who again ceded the responsibility to his party to also decide, expressed assurance of defeating even the national leader of APC Asiwaju Tinubu in the primary election.

However, most strong supporters of GYB like Femi Fani Kayode, his CoS, Chief security adviser among others who deliver speeches at the two day seminar in Abuja spoke in favour of Muslim- Muslim ticket sighting examples of MKO Abiola presidential victory.

According to them, the Nigeria has reached an advanced age where origin, tribes, religion and zones of the president and vice president no longer maters but good leadership, governance and dividend of democracy.
Recalled that the security challenges existence cut across 3 administration of presidents Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Ebele Johnathan and Muhammadu Buhari respectfully. End
